The yoetz/et (community care team member) is a senior staff member who focuses on
supporting the mental and social-emotional health of our chanichim (campers) and tzevet (staff) in a residential summer camp setting. The yoetz/et serves as a central case manager, facilitating communication as needed between the tzevet (staff), camp leadership, medical staff, parents, and Director of Community Care. In addition, the yoetz/et functions as a coach and partner to rashei edah (unit heads) and tzevet (staff) in managing the MESSH needs of their campers. Our goal is to empower and encourage staff members to support their campers directly and to gain a sense of personal confidence, independence, and autonomy as they are emerging into adulthood.
