Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I complete the Zelikow School program while staying enrolled in my main HUC-JIR program?

Absolutely! The Zelikow School is designed to complement your HUC-JIR studies and can be completed concurrently. Scheduling is coordinated to avoid conflicts.

Is the tuition discount automatically applied?

Yes. All concurrently enrolled students automatically receive a 75% tuition reduction on Zschool tuition—no separate application for financial aid is needed to receive this discount.

What’s the difference between the MAJNM and the Certificate program?

The MAJNM is a comprehensive two-year graduate program that prepares students for senior leadership in Jewish and nonprofit settings.

The Certificate in Jewish Organizational Leadership is a condensed, intensive program designed for students seeking core leadership and management training in a shorter time frame.

Can I switch from the Certificate to the MAJNM later?

Students who begin with the Certificate may apply to transition into the MAJNM program on a case-by case basis, but it is better if you apply initially to the MA if you think that is what you may want to peruse.

How do I schedule advising or ask additional questions?
