Students applying or accepted to the school of Jewish Education who have an interest in organizational leadership may apply to do a joint degree in Jewish Nonprofit Management or take the Certificate program.

This program is open to students on the LA and New York campuses.

    • Units Required: 36 units* for Joint Masters; 22 units* for Certificates
    • Fieldwork Internship (MA only): One year of paid supervised field practice and related practicum course in an experiential learning environment that is constructed to meet educational objectives by integrating leadership theory with on the job learning.
    • Capstone Project (MA only): Choose between a traditional research thesis or a nonprofit accelerator. Completed during Fall/Spring of year two.
    • Seminar in Global Nonprofit Innovation: The Windmueller Israel Seminar is a 2.5 week experience designed to introduce Jewish professional leaders to the social, political and cultural dynamics of contemporary Israel. The trip is offered every other year (even-numbered years), and begins in mid-December. The next trip is scheduled for December 2018.
